Measure what moved between inspections.
Delta Integrity lines up your inspection runs of the same pipeline, measures the bending strain each one sees, and isolates the strain that grew. Then it tells you which girth welds need attention, and how soon.
One run shows curvature. Two runs show movement.
Every bend looks the same
Field bends, sag bends, elastic curves from construction and real ground movement all appear as curvature. On one run you can't tell a 30-year-old overbend from a slope that started creeping last winter.
Only the change stands out
Once every run sits on the same chainage, construction curvature cancels out. What is left is the strain that grew between inspections, with a growth rate in % per year and a date by which it reaches the weld's limit.
From raw inspection files to a decision per weld
The steps run in the order an integrity engineer works. Each one is a view you can open, check and adjust, and every result traces back to its inputs.
- 00
Inputs
Your inspection runs and pipe tally, from any vendor, in the formats you already have.
- 01
Run alignment
Every run is placed on the same chainage automatically, so the same bend sits at the same place.
- 02
Out-of-straightness
The shape of the pipe, run against run.
- 03
Pitch & azimuth
How the direction of the pipe changes along the line.
- 04
Bending strain
The strain along the whole line, for every run, and what changed between them.
- 05
Strain screening
The zones that matter are flagged and ranked. Known bends are set apart, so a field bend is never mistaken for ground movement.
- 06
FFS Level 1
A fast first pass over every girth weld near a flagged zone. Only the welds that need it go further.
- 07
FFS Level 2
A detailed assessment of each remaining weld, with the time left and when to inspect again.
Beside every step, the geohazard context view shows terrain, ground motion, weather and earthquakes over the stretch you're looking at.
A clear decision for every weld
Delta Integrity follows industry-recognised practice to assess each weld in a moving zone. You get a plain answer your team can act on, and every result traces back to its inputs.
Which welds
From thousands of welds down to the few that sit in a moving zone and deserve an engineer's time.
How urgent
Each weld is classed, so priorities are obvious at a glance across the whole line.
When to go back
From the trend between inspections: the time left before a weld needs action, and a recommended reinspection interval.
No action. Check it again at the next inspection.
Follow it closely and compare at the next run.
Investigate on site and plan mitigation.
Why did the pipe move here?
For the stretch you're looking at, Delta Integrity brings in public data about the ground and the weather, next to the strain. Each zone gets a probable cause to guide the engineer.
Ground motion
Satellite measurements of how the ground has moved along the pipe over the years.
Terrain
Slopes, valleys and crossings along the line, where movement usually starts.
Weather & soil
Heavy-rain episodes and wet soil, set against the dates the strain grew.
Earthquakes
Seismic events near the line between two inspections.
Map
The pipeline and its runs on a satellite basemap, next to the profiles, so you can see the ground the strain comes from.
Assistant
Ask questions about your line in plain language: which welds are worst, which zones grew fastest, what drives a result.
Client files never leave the engineer's PC
There is no server behind the application. Files are read inside the browser, so it can be hosted on your intranet or opened from a single file, even for the most confidential pipelines.
- Static web app: any web server, Docker, or one self-contained HTML file that works offline.
- Context data is fetched only when you ask, by location, from public services.
- The optional assistant never sees your raw files.
- Any vendor layout: columns are guessed from their names and remembered per layout.
Reports your client can audit
Flag reports
One workbook per zone, with its details and plots, ready for the dig pack.
Assessment summary
Every assessed weld with its class, its trend, the time left, the reinspection interval and the probable cause.
Every assumption written down
The settings behind each result are listed with it, so a reviewer can follow every conclusion.
Bring two runs of one of your lines.
In a one-hour session we load your data, align the runs and walk through the flags and the welds that matter, on your own pipeline.
- What to send: two or more inspection runs of the same line and the pipe tally, in any vendor layout.
- What you get: the aligned runs, the strain that grew, the flagged welds and their class.
- Where it runs: on your PC or intranet. Your files stay with you.
